Alice Marie Henneberg

Alice Henneberg, of Appleton, passed away Monday, August 17, 2026 at her home in Appleton at the age of 89.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 24, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Zion Lutheran Church in Appleton with burial in the Appleton City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.

Alice Marie Miller was born on October 1, 1936, in Appleton, Minnesota, to Arthur and Elna (Anderson) Miller. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Appleton. Alice attended and graduated from Appleton High School.

On November 20, 1954, Alice was united in marriage to Ernest Henneberg Jr. at Zion Lutheran Church in Appleton. Two children were born to this union.

Alice enjoyed working with her hands, especially crocheting, knitting, and diamond point art. She also had a love for baking, bowling, and fishing. Most of all, Alice cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her great joy.

Alice will be lovingly remembered by her family and all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children, David (Debbie) Henneberg of Appleton, MN and June (Richard) Schott of Branson, MO; three grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Nancy (Rodney) Bothun, Sandy Lehne, Judy Enevoldsen and Keita (Robert) Jutting; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernest; brothers, Robert and Thomas Miller; sisters, Carol Johnson and Jo Ann Dopp; and grandson, Chad Henneberg.
