Betty Ostenson

Betty Elaine Ostenson entered into Jesus' arms April 17, 2024 at the age of 96.

She is survived by her three children: Diane Guidi, Brainerd; Lanny Ostenson (Carmen), Montevideo; Renee Sherman ( Les), Granite Falls; and by her grandchildren Michele; Patrick Saumer (David), Eden Prairie; Megan Oelke (Jeff), Pequot Lakes; and Andrew Saumer (Linda), Brainerd; Todd Ostenson (Ronda); Angela Backer (James); Tanya Ostenson (Scott Berglund); and Shawn Ostenson, all of Montevideo; Jason Sherman (Lisa), Balaton; and Christian (Sarah), Garrettsville, OH; as well as many Great Grandchildren, Great-Great Grandchildren, and Great-Great-Great Grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and brother Kenneth Leenerts, Clarkfield; daughter-in-law, Joan Ostenson, Minneapolis; and all dearly loved by Betty.

Preceding her in death was husband Warner; son Larry; parents George & Ethel Leenerts and two brothers Dale and Robert Leenerts; all of whom she looked forward to meeting again in Heaven.  She was known and loved for her 22 years as a Foster Grandparent in the Montevideo school system.
