Bruce Loose, of Milan, died Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at the Appleton Care Center at the age of 75.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Kviteseid Lutheran Church in Milan. Rev. Bob Dahl will officiate and interment will be in the Kviteseid Lutheran - Milan Methodist Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, from 5-7:00 PM at Anderson - TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo with a prayer service at 6:30 PM. There will also be visitation at the church for one hour before the service.
Bruce Allen Loose was born March 17, 1951 in Appleton, MN the son of Wallace and Joan (Heipler) Loose. He graduated from Appleton High School and served in the Army National Guard in the 1970's. He was a meat cutter at Red Owl and Hill Grocery in Montevideo, had an Ambassador Meat Route, worked for Cloverleaf Dairy, and later was a Old Dutch salesman for 21 years before retiring in 2013. After retirement, he worked part time at the American Legion in Milan and also for local farmers during harvest. He enjoyed all MN sports teams, especially the Twins. Bruce also liked to fish and play golf.
He is survived by his significant other, Joy Albrecht; two daughters: Brooke Schommer of Hopkins, MN and Shannon (Dan) Mostad of Minot, ND; two grandchildren: Grady and Nina; two brothers: Brad (Pam) Loose of Perham, MN and David (Linda) Loose of Moose Lake, MN; two sisters: Kathy (Gregg) Anderson of Blaine, MN and Jane Loose, of Cordova, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
