Bryan Douglas Jones, beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend passed away on November 25, 2025, at the age of 68. A visitation and memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church in Benson, Minnesota, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. and the service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Benson City Cemetery.
Born on March 15, 1957, Bryan lived a life marked by quiet dedication, steady hands, and a warm heart. Bryan proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy serving for six years prior to being honorably discharged. Bryan went on to work as a technician in the aerospace industry, a career that suited his meticulous nature and lifelong fascination with how things worked. He took pride in his craft and in knowing that his work contributed to something larger than himself.
Outside of his profession, Bryan found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved settling in to watch movies, cheering on Gator football, and spending cherished time with his grandson, Waylon, who brought him endless happiness. Bryan valued peace, simplicity, and the comfort of familiar routines—qualities that shone through in the way he lived and cared for those around him.
Bryan was preceded in death by his father Edward Jones, his stepmother Elaine Jones, and his brother Randy Jones.
He leaves behind many who loved him deeply. Bryan will be dearly missed by his daughter Ashley Hall; his grandson, Waylon Hall, and his soon to arrive granddaughter Laila Sprinkel; his mother Viola Jones; his brothers Rick (Carol) Jones and Timothy (Judy) Jones; his cousins Debbie and Darrel Hamilton; his dear friend Eleanor Kearns; and a large circle of nieces and nephews.
Bryan’s steady presence, kind spirit, and quiet humor will be remembered always. His family and friends take comfort in knowing he is at peace and that his legacy lives on in the many lives he touched.
