Charles Edward Kennedy

On Tuesday, November 5th, 2019, Charles (“Chuck”) E. Kennedy, Sr. passed away at the age of 87.

Chuck was born on August 11, 1932 in St. Paul, Minnesota. He was a proud Korean War Navy Veteran, having served as a radioman on the U.S.S. Capricornis (“the Scrappy Cappy”).  He was a highly ethical businessman, who lived his life his way to the very end.

Chuck was preceded in death by his mother, Delores Flynn. He is survived by his 5 children, Mark Kennedy, Paul Kennedy, Charles (Teri) Kennedy, Jr., Cheryl (Brent) Petersen, and Karen (David) Petersen. He was lovingly known as Grandpa Bonka to his grandchildren, Kelly, Samantha, Ryan, Lindsey, Jessica and Caroline.

He was known for his quick wit, infectious smile, and kind eyes and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
