Debra Grant

Debra Grant, daughter of Deanna and the late Robert Grant of Milan, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at St. Mary's Rochester Mayo at the age of 62.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 11, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Anderson - TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo with Pastor Kristine Isder officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Friday.

Debra Lynn Grant was born on August 1, 1962, in Montevideo, MN, the second-born child of Robert and Deanna (Johnson) Grant. She was baptized at the Big Bend Lutheran Church.

Debbie was raised in the Milan area until she was 7 years old, at which point she moved to a REM house in Roseau, MN. She spent fifteen years of her life in Roseau, where she attended special schooling and obtained the equivalent of a high school diploma.

At the age of 22, Debbie moved to Waseca, MN, where she spent the remainder of her life. She enjoyed listening to all kinds of music and loved interacting with it, often using instruments she could shake.

Debbie was known for her contagious smile and cheerful laugh. Despite enduring numerous health challenges throughout her life, she remained strong and resilient.

Debbie is survived by her mother, Deanna Grant of Milan; siblings, Robert (Julie) Grant of Montevideo, Ricky (Kathy) Grant of Hutchinson, Ryan (Joan) Grant of Milan, Dawn (Brad) Thorstad of Alexandria and Reid Grant of Milan; nieces and nephews, Lee (Randina) Grant, Kelly Grant, Amanda Beninga, Matthew Grant, Nathaniel Grant, Jett Thorstad and Jaden Thorstad; and numerous extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert; and maternal and paternal grandparents.
