Dennis R. Anderson died Saturday, December 27, 2025 at CCM Health in Montevideo at the age of 78.

A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 PM on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at the Montevideo VFW. A toast to Dennis will be held at 3:00PM.

Dennis Ray Anderson was born on October 15, 1947 in Marshall, MN to Kenneth and Helen (Tilbury) Anderson. He graduated from Wood Lake High School and then attended Canby Technical College before enlisting in the United States Navy. Dennis served in the US Navy from 1967 to 1990. In 1973 Dennis married Paulette Siewert in Montevideo MN. Dennis and Paulette would have four children: Tina, Kyle, Melissa and Paul.  After his discharge from the Navy, they moved to Montevideo where Dennis worked for Dawson Engineering and later at Trailways.

Dennis was a proud lifetime member of the VFW. He enjoyed mowing, listening to the Twins, and bowling. He was also a member of the USBC. Dennis loved to watch his grandkids in their many activities and sports.

Dennis is survived by his wife Paulette; children: Tina Wagner, Dawson, MN, Melissa Anderson, Dawson, MN, Paul (Brianna) Anderson, Montevideo, MN; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; siblings: Sandy Radtke, Bend, OR, David (Joani) Anderson, Arvada, CO; and many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws; son, Kyle; grandchildren: Clay and Carl Anderson.
