Dora (Kittelson) Hoberg

Dora Hoberg, formerly of Montevideo, died on Sunday, January 10, 1999 at the Clara City Nursing Home at the age of 86.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, January 14, 1999 at 1:30 PM at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Montevideo with rev. Lois Knutson officiating.  Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday afternoon and evening at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo and for one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.

Dora (Kittelson) Hoberg was born on November 18, 1912 in Clarkfield, MN to Martin & Christine ( Kjos) Kittelson.  She grew up in the Clarkfield area and graduated from Clarkfield High School.  She was united in marriage to Eric M. Hoberg on December 30, 1948, They farmed in Stoney Run Township before retiring and moving into Montevideo.  Following her husband’s death in 1991, she has been a resident of the Clarkfield Care Center, Brookside Manor in Montevideo and has been a resident of the Clara City Nursing Home for the past 2 years.  She has been a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Montevideo.

She is survived by 4 nieces; 1 nephew and a sister-in-law  - Viola Kittelson of Montevideo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Eric in 1991; and by 5 brothers and sisters
