Elaine Nygaard, formerly of Montevideo, died on September 29, 2001 at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, Mn at the age of 55.
Memorial services will be conducted on Friday, October 5, 2001 at 1:30 PM at Saron Lutheran Church, rural Montevideo, with Rev. John Beem officiating.
Elaine Elizabeth Nygaard was born on January 6, 1946 in Montevideo, MN to Harold and Sylvia (Strand) Nygaard. She was baptized and confirmed at Saron Lutheran Church and graduated from Montevideo High School in 1964. She attended Minneapolis Business College and worked as a medical secretary for several years. She has worked as a secretary for Kraus-Anderson Construction Co for the past 30 years.
She is survived by one brother, Ronald Nygaard of Montevideo; nephews: Ben and Chris Nygaard of Montevideo; and a close friend, Peggy King and her fiancé John Rucci of Minneapolis.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
