Herbert Milton Scott

Herbert Scott, of Montevideo, died on Wednesday, September 18, 2002 at the Chippewa Co - Montevideo Hospital at the age of 90.

Memorial services were conducted on Sunday, September 22, 2002 at 2:30 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo with Rick Mitchell officiating.  Interment was in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

Herbert Milton Scott was born on November 15, 1911 in Montevideo to Leroy and Frieda (Prien) Scott.  He grew up in Montevideo and graduated from Montevideo High School in 1929.  He served in the US Army during WWII, serving in Italy and Sicily.  He was a lifelong resident of Montevideo and worked for Hildahl Construction for many years before retiring.  He had been living at Brookside Manor in Montevideo since 1997.  He was a member of the American Legion and VFW Posts in Montevideo.

He is survived by several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Nyla Engel and Leora Scott.
