Hildegard Jane Oleson

Hildegarde Oleson, of Montevideo, died on Saturday, August 16, 2003 at the Chippewa Co - Montevideo Hospital at the age of 80.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at 10:00 AM at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo with Rev. Mary Hovland officiating.  Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.

Hildegarde Jane Oleson was born on May 14, 1923 in Montevideo to Martin and Clara (Wig) Oleson.  She was baptized at Saron Lutheran Church and confirmed at Our Saviors Lutheran Church.  She attended school at District 7 in rural Montevideo.  She lived her entire lifetime in the Montevideo area until the past 8 years and 8 months when she has been a resident of the Clara City Care Center.  She enjoyed crocheting, embroidering dish towels, needlework, reading, writing letters and visiting her nieces.

She is survived by a brother Richard Oleson and his wife Barbara of Montevideo and nieces, Kim Oleson of Roseville, MN and Kris Oleson of New York, NY.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
