Inez Heieren, of Montevideo, died on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at the Chippewa County - Montevideo Hospital at the age of 91.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 29, 2006 at 10:30 AM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Paul Idstrom officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday afternoon and evening, with the family present from 5 - 6:30 PM and with a prayer service at 6:30 PM, all at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.
Inez Pauline (Molde) Heieren was born on January 22, 1915 in Montevideo, MN to Ingvald and Birgit (Langehough) Molde. She was baptized in February, 1915 and confirmed in May of 1929 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. She graduated from Montevideo High School. On August 29, 1944, she was united in marriage to Chester Heieren at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Montevideo. They made their home and farmed in Baxter Township until moving into Brookside Manor in 1998. She was a lifelong member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and was active in circle. She liked to sew, do rosemalling, hardanger, being a hostess and entertaining, loved to shop and her life was rooted in her faith.
She is survived by three children: Craig Heieren and his wife Mary of Fridley, MN; Beverly Anderson and her husband Milton of Anoka, MN and Mark Heieren and his wife Mary Jo of Apple Valley, MN; six grandchildren: Rhonda (Steve) Robb, Kristin (Cary) Robinson, Stephanie (Gary) Burgess, Erika (Tom) Scheider, Eric (Nikki Brooks) Heieren, and Kelsey Heieren; ten great-grandchildren: Annika, Morgan, Hunter, Mitchell, Ethan, Rylie, Elyse, Marcus, Chayse, and Quinn; a brother, Ingmar Molde of Montevideo; two sisters-in-law: Eleanor Molde and Elizabeth Molde, both of Montevideo, MN as well as by a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: her husband, Chester in 2004; two sisters: Josephine Randisi and Borghild Loken; and two brothers: Adolph Molde and Luthard Molde.
