Jeffrey Rogers of Montevideo died on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at St. Cloud Hospital at the age of 63.
A celebration gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019 from 3 to 6 PM at Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo.
Jeffrey Rogers was born on December 6, 1955 in Eureka, California to Buford and Texina (Gibson) Rogers. Jeffrey enjoyed living in a variety of different locations throughout his life. He moved to Minnesota about 1970. He worked for casinos, Iowa Pork, 21st Century and a tire shop before becoming an all around handyman.
Jeff enjoyed anything in the outdoors but loved to fish and camp. His favorite drink was a cold Coca-Cola and he would collect Coca-Cola items. Jeff would watch old Western movies and TV shows and listen to old country music including, Willie Nelson and Dolly Parton. Traveling was a big part of his life and he would search to find Western theme festivals and towns.
Jeff is survived by his wife: Margaret; two sons: Shawn Rogers and Buford (Karrie Housman) Rogers; grandchildren: Dorian Rogers, Braden Rogers; sisters: Shirley Vigil of CA and Pauline Rogers of AZ; brothers: Mickey Rogers of AZ and John Roth of FL; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Gloria Rigsby.
