Kathleen Velde

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Kathleen Velde left us on October 8th, 2025 at the age of 78.

Born on February 11th 1947, Kathy lived a life full of kindness, laughter, and love of family and friends. She touched many lives with her warmth and unwavering support.

She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Guertin, grandchildren Victoria (Tyler) Patterson and Jacob (Sydney) Guertin, great grandson Lincoln Patterson, siblings Doug (Sandy) Owens, Dave (Karen) Owens, Richard Owens, and Sara Granger, step children, step grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, who will cherish the many beautiful memories made together.

She is reunited with her parents, sister Mary, brothers Dan & Greg, and husband David.

A celebration of Kathleen’s life will be held on October 18th at 10:30 in the morning, with a visitation starting at 9:30 at Anderson-TeBeest funeral home in Granite Falls, MN. All who loved her are welcome.
