Kristina Hawk

Kristina Hawk passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Home Front Assisted Living in Montevideo, MN at the age of 64.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Kristina Louise Hawk was born on July 8, 1961, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, to Wilbur Hawk and Judith (Spaulding) Hawk. She grew up surrounded by family and carried that love for connection throughout her life.

Kristina enjoyed birdwatching and had a deep love for wildlife and the outdoors. She liked fishing, taking road trips, and spending time visiting with family and friends. She also enjoyed playing games on her phone during quiet moments. Kristina was always on the go and loved being included in trips and gatherings.

Those who knew Kristina knew her heart was always open to others. She was a giver by nature—someone who found joy in helping, caring, and making sure the people around her were okay. Whether it was sharing a laugh, taking a spontaneous trip, or simply being present, Kristina brought warmth and kindness wherever she went. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Home Front Assisted Living in Montevideo for the care, compassion, and kindness they showed Kristina.

Kristina’s love for life, her generosity, and her constant willingness to give to others will remain in the memories of those who knew her. Though she may no longer walk beside us, the love she shared, the laughter she brought, and the moments she created will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

She is survived by her children, Devan Hawk Memory Schmidt and Colleen Hawk; and her cherished grandchildren, Jaden, Damon, Payton, and Ethan. She is also survived by her siblings: Mitchell Kerry Hawk Sr., John McNaught Larson Jr., Kimberly Joy Vaughn, Valerie Ann Larson, and Darcy Deanna Hawk.
