Larry Doebbert

Larry Doebbert died Sunday, August 2, 2026 at his home in Montevideo at the age of 88.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Cemetery. A celebration of his life will continue at Topper's starting at 3:00 PM.

Larry Lee Doebbert was born June 21, 1938 in Montevideo, MN the son of Arnold and Eleanor (Jenson) Doebbert. He graduated from Montevideo High School and served in the Army National Guard for 5 years. Larry worked as a machinist at Chandler Industries for many years. He was united in marriage with Sheryl Nelson July 16, 2024. Larry had been a member of the American Legion and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was a life long member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Sheryl; his daughter, Connie Hendershot; a sister, Diane (Gerry) Berglund; a nephew, Scott (Tanya Ostenson) Berglund; and many friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a daughter, Sheri; and a niece, Angela Peters.
