Leland Edward Cushman

Leland Cushman, 68, of Willmar and formerly of Montevideo, died July 26, 1998 at his home in Willmar.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 28, 1998 at 1:00 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.  Rev. Alvin G. Lewis, Jr. will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

Leland Edward Cushman was born January 16, 1930 at Montevideo, MN the son of Ralph and Mable (Allen) Cushman.  He graduated from Montevideo High School in 1948.  Leland served in the Army National Guard and was called into active service.  He was united marriage with Janet Haugerud.  They made their home in Montevideo and he worked as an engineer for Chippewa County.  In recent years, Leland had been living in Willmar and had retired from Willmar Poultry.

He is survived by two sons: Michael Cushman and Steven Cushman of Montevideo, MN; one sister, Lois Madden Reiman and her husband Gene Reiman of Benson, MN; three brothers: Allen Cushman of Coon Rapids, MN, Dennis Cushman and his wife Joan of Montevideo, MN, and Byron Cushman and his wife Linda of Coon Rapids, MN; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister, Shirley Cushman in infancy.
