Lena Kienast, 91, of Boyd died July 1, 1999 at Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 3, 1999 at 10:00 A.M. at Zion Lutheran Church, Tyro Township. Rev. Randy Maland will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday from 2-5:00 P.M. at the Hanson & Dahl in Dawson and at the church for one hour before services at the church.
Lena Augusta Kienast was born January 11, 1908 at Boyd, MN the daughter of Carl and Theresa (Bohn) Kienast. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church and attended school in Boyd. Lena lived on the farm her entire life.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Elsie Kienast in 1966.
