Lillian “Tootie” Mader, 88, of Montevideo, died Wednesday, February 27, 2002 at Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 2, 2002 at 10:30 A.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo. Visitation will be held for one hour before the services.
Lillian May (Suits) Mader was born January 22, 1914 at Huron, SD the daughter of William and Hattie (Fliss) Suits. She moved with her family as a young girl to Minneapolis where she attended school and grew to adulthood. She was united in marriage with Arthur Mader in Minneapolis and they made their home their. Arthur died in 1974 and she moved to Montevideo in 1985. She had been living at Luther Haven Nursing Home the past three years. Lillian enjoyed doing craft work.
She is survived by one daughter, Janice (Tom) Helbling of St. Cloud, MN; eight grandchildren: Douglas Olson of Montevideo, MN, Linda (Bill) Christianson of Waseca, MN, David (Judy) Olson of Dawson, MN, Bill (Bev) Olson of Montevideo, MN, Barbara Butzin of Granite Falls, MN, Craig (Stacy) Olson of Montevideo, MN, Sandra (Jeff) Mock of Montevideo, MN, and Keith (Holly) Olson of Montevideo, MN; 24 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; three sisters: Bette, Mary, and Harriet all of Minneapolis; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Arthur; one sister, Laura; and two brothers: Bill and Art Suits.
