Margaret Becker died Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Johnson Memorial Care Center in Dawson at the age of 83.
Memorial service will be held Friday, March 13, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Dawson Covenant Church with Rev. Terry White officiating.
Visitation will be held for one hour before the service at the church.
Margaret Sue (Quammen) Becker was born October 26, 1942 in Hastings, MN the daughter of Hilman and Luella (Veseth) Quammen. She grew up in the St. Anthony Park area of St. Paul and graduated from Murray High School in 1960. She later attended beautician school. Margaret was united in marriage with Robert Fisk October 23, 1964. They moved to California. She married Bud Becker in Montana in the early 1970's. Margaret returned to the Twin Cities in that late 70's and continued to raise her children. She enjoyed riding and training horse. She did some barrel racing in her younger years. Her passion was breeding and training Springer Spaniels. Margaret had a deep love for animals and for her family.
She is survived by four children: Robert (Tane) Fisk of Dawson, William (Tina) Fisk of Hannibal, MO, Raymond Fisk of Dawson, and Tina (Dennis) Harding of Dawson; 11 grandchildren: Kristina Kimmel, Johnathan (Celina) Kimmel, Gracie Harding, Rebekah Harding, Zachary (Caitlin Gilley) Fisk, Clayton (Courtney Haaland) Fisk, Nicholas Fisk, Ethan (Aemiliana) Fisk Aphelli, Tristan Fisk, Edgar Fisk and Joshua Fisk; great-grandchildren: Logan, Sadie, Cash, Noah, Ella, Adelaide, and two more that are due in April.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and her siblings; Roger (Gene) Quammen, Katheryne (Gary Odegaard) Lynah, and Luella (Roger) Lindberg.
