Oakland Hayes Berens, died Monday, January 8, 2024, at Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood, Minnesota. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 18, 2024, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church in Benson, Minnesota. Interment will be this spring at Swift Falls Cemetery.
Oakland is survived by his mother Kristy Mondor, father Brandon Berens, siblings Mason, Hudson, Liam, Emmett, and Eli; grandparents Janil Mondor, Roger Mondor, Nettie (Lon) Lindemann, and Dave (Lexi) Berens; great grandmother Olive Berens, great grandfather Jessie Nordby; and several aunts and uncles.
