Pamela Anderson

Pamela Anderson, of Dawson, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026 at the age of 74.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Hanson & Dahl Funeral Home in Dawson.

Pamela Sue Anderson was born September 3, 1951, in St. Paul, MN, to George and Marion (Olson) Anderson. She attended and graduated from Montevideo High School. Pam was united in marriage to Vernon Anderson on May 20, 1972, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Montevideo, MN. Together, they made their home in Dawson, where Pam worked various jobs throughout the years. To this union, two children were born, Matthew and Vince.

Pam found great joy in volunteering and was known for her giving nature. She spent many years volunteering with hospice, offering her time and care to others. Pam also enjoyed reading and was a member of various book clubs throughout the years. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, sense of humor, and generous heart. Pam will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children, Matt Anderson of Montevideo and Vince (Sarah) Anderson of Norwood Young America; grandchildren, Nicolas (Betsy) Anderson, Corey (Sarah) Castell, Mason Anderson, Cameron (Madisen) Anderson, Dane Anderson and Ashyer Brustuen; sister, Sheryl (Bob) Miller; brother, Gregg (Kathy) Anderson; and several nieces nephews, extended family and friends.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vernon; and sisters Carolyn and Laurie.
