Patricia Marlene Jerde was born July 14, 1938 in Dawson, MN to Helmer and Florence (Tobias) Jerde. She was baptized and confirmed at Riverside Lutheran Church. Pat attended country school until her family moved to town in 1947 and graduated from Dawson High School in 1956. She was united in marriage to Gene Liebl on November 10, 1956 at St. James Catholic Church in Dawson. To this union six children were born.
