Reed Quenemoen

Reed Alan Quenemoen, age 79 passed away peacefully at his home on July 11, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Reed Alan Quenemoen was born on October 16, 1946 in Clarkfield to Russell and Lillian (Swennes) Quenemoen. He attended and graduated from Clarkfield High School in 1964. Following high school he attended and graduated from Southwest State University with a bachelor’s degree in business. He proudly served in the Army National Guard and the Air Force. He was united in marriage to Susan Olson on February 25, 1966. Reed farmed near Clarkfield, Minnesota and later made his home in Willmar. He also spent several years living and working in Bradenton, Florida. He enjoyed a long career as an owner-operator in the trucking industry and eventually retired from trucking.

He was known for his strong work ethic, quiet strength, and dedication to providing for his family. Above all, Reed was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who loved his family deeply.

Reed is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sue Quenemoen: his sons, Shane (Stacy), Clint (Angie); grandchildren: Elijah and Hannah; 4 step-grandchildren; brother, Lowell; sister, Fay Lou; and other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Quenemoen and Lillian (Quenemoen) Kopitzke.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, service, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
