Robert Arlen Cornelius

Robert Cornelius, of Clarkfield, died Thursday, November 19, 2015 at his home in Clarkfield, MN at the age of 59.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Lynner Funeral Home Chapel in Clarkfield with Rev. Chris Zuraff officiating.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home for one hour before the services on Monday.

Robert Arlen Cornelius was born October 17, 1956 in Montevideo, MN the son of Virgil and Vernice (Tongen) Cornelius.  He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith.  He moved with his family to San Diego, CA where he graduated from high school in 1974.  Robert worked as an auto mechanic at his father’s repair shop.  He also did home construction and was an all around handyman.  He moved to Clarkfield, MN in 1993.  Robert enjoyed fishing and motorcycle racing and riding.  He loved to find “treasures”.

He is survived by his brother, Dean (Regina) Cornelius of Clarkfield; a sister-in-law, Terry Cornelius of San Diego; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and his special friend, Barb Harvey of Clarkfield.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Wayne.
