Robert Olson, of Watson, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at his home near Watson at the age of 63.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Anderson - TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM with a prayer service at 11:00 AM.

Robert John Olson was born on February 6, 1961, in Montevideo, MN, to Roger and Louise (Meyer) Olson. He was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Appleton. After graduating from Appleton High School in 1979, Bob earned a degree in Agronomy from North Dakota State University. He then put his degree to use working for Farmers Union Oil in Montevideo and farming.
In 2006, Bob married Debra Weyer in Spearfish, SD, and became a loving stepfather to three daughters: Lisa, Melissa, and Samantha. Bob had a deep love for travel, especially to South Dakota, where he enjoyed visits to Deadwood and Spearfish. He was also passionate about photography, capturing beautiful sunset scenes on his trips.
A talented craftsman, Bob took great pride in woodworking and in the furniture he built for his home. He cherished spending time with his step-grandchildren, often traveling with them to their goat shows.
Bob is survived by his wife, Debra Olson of Watson; stepchildren, Lisa (Jeff) Bayerl of Winsted, MN, Melissa Bickman of Plymouth, MN, and Samantha (Tyler) Andrews of Monticello, MN; step grandchildren, Allizaya Maslonkowski, Grace and Easten Bayerl, Zachary Hanrahan, and Paige and Wade Andrews; brothers, Mark (Leslie) Olson and David (Cindy) Olson; sister, Lynda Goodwin; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
