Robert Rongitsch died March 22, 2026 at the Appleton Care Center at the age of 77.
Burial will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
Robert Francis Rongitsch was born November 25, 1949 in St. Paul, MN the son of Robert W. And Mary (Elling) Rongitsch. He served in the US Army from December of 1968 until his discharge from the Army Reserves in 1974. He was married to Vickie Edwards on March 17, 1972. Robert worked as a car salesman for several years.
He is survived by his son, Joel Gillard of Portland, OR; two grandchildren; and two sisters: Sandy Mayer of Shoreview, MN and Pam Crisman of Yucca Valley, CA.
He was preceded by his parents.
