Selina Castro

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Selina Rosa Castro, 32 years old, a deeply loved woman whose presence brought light, laughter, and warmth to everyone around her. Selina passed away on July 12, 2026.

A service for Selina will be held on July 27, 2026 at Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home, 629 N. 3rd St, Montevideo, MN. Services will be held at 4pm - 6pm.

Selina was a devoted mother, a cherished daughter, a loving sister, a proud aunt, and a loyal friend. Her love for her son was unmatched — he was truly her world, and she poured her whole heart into being his mom. Selina had a gift for making people smile. Whether it was her contagious laugh, her quick wit, or a perfectly timed joke, she could lighten even the heaviest moments. She had a playful spirit and a way of turning ordinary days into something a little brighter, leaving everyone around her feeling a little happier just by being near her. She made an impact on every person she met — making them feel seen, valued, and loved. Her kindness, strength, and sense of humor will never be forgotten. Selina will be deeply missed and forever carried in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Though her absence leaves an unimaginable void, her memory will live on in the laughter she shared, the love she gave, and the countless lives she touched.

Selina is survived by her son, AJ; her mother, Bonnie Soria; her father, Michael Castro; and her siblings, Virginia Fernandez, Michael Castro, Robert Castro, Arsenia Castro, and Joseph Castro.
