Sharla Rae Kruger

Sharla Kruger, of Dawson, died Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls at the age of 60.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church of Baxter.  Pastor Matt Danielson will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.

Sharla Rae Weber was born January 25, 1964 in Madison, MN to Harvey and Corrine (Lien) Weber.  She was baptized and confirmed at Garfield Lutheran Church near Madison.  Sharla attended and graduated from Madison High School. After high school she started her career in healthcare at Johnson Memorial Hospital where she worked for over 35 years.  She was united in marriage to Duane Kruger on February 4, 1989 at Garfield Lutheran Church.  Sharla enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Duane; father, Harvey Weber; sisters, Cindy (Jay) Lessman, Janelle Kelty and Michelle (Jeff) Sheldon; brother, Kevin (Jodi) Weber; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Sharla was preceded in death by her daughter, Amber and mother, Corrine.
