Timothy Cushman

Timothy Cushman, of Montevideo, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026 at the St. Cloud Hospital at the age of 72.

Memorial services will be held Friday, February 13, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Anderson - TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo, with Rev. Donald S. McKee officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Cemetery. These services will be held jointly with services for his sister, Sheryl Maus.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the Funeral Home on Friday.

Timothy Roger Cushman was born on April 29, 1953, in Clarkfield, MN, to Darrel and Ruth (McCoy) Cushman. He attended and graduated from Montevideo High School. On March 27, 1976, Tim was united in marriage to Rebecca “Becky” Goring in Watertown, SD. The couple made their home in Montevideo.

Tim spent most of his working career as a truck driver for Watson Truck Line and Gibson Trucking, and later worked for J & D Construction. He had a great love for racing and especially enjoyed being part of the pit crew at the track. Tim also loved taking his Harley out for a ride. Above all else, his favorite times were those spent with Michael and Bentley.

Tim is survived by his son, Michael Cushman; grandson, Bentley Cushman; sister, Jolene (Thomas) Phillips; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry; and sister, Sheryl.
