Sylvia Jane (Ostlie) Lee of Dawson died on November 17, 2021 at the age of 93.

Private funeral services will be held.  A livestream of the service will be available on Grace Lutheran Church Facebook page.  Burial will be in Grace Lutheran Cemetery.

Sylvia Jane Ostlie was born in Montevideo, MN on July 3, 1928 to Albert and Cora (Lund) Ostlie. Sylvia attended and graduated from Montevideo High School.  She married Thornie Lee on November 6, 1949 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Watson.  Together, they raised four children and farmed in the rural Dawson area.  Sylvia was a 4-H leader and a member of a Bowling League. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening. Sylvia enjoyed baking, especially her famous chocolate chip oatmeal cookies and always had coffee made for visitors. Sylvia was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.  She was active in Ladies Aide and circle.

Sylvia is survived by her children: Diane (Cort) Holten, Minneapolis, MN, David (Janice) Lee, Dawson, MN, Gary (Debra) Lee, Dawson, MN, Carol (Michael) Nault, Minneapolis, MN; grandchildren: Brent (Becky) Holten, Ryan (Melissa) Holten, Darin (Nicole) Lee, Angela (fiancé Derek) Lee, Kelsey Lee, Brandon Lee, Tyler (Chloe) Nault, Rachel Nault; great-grandchildren: Rory and Bernadette Holten, Rayna Holten, Theo Nault as well as extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thornie; four brothers: Roy, Floyd, Earl and Clarence Ostlie; two sisters: Alice Ostlie and Doris Folkestad.

Memorials are preferred to Grace Lutheran Church Radio Ministry and Copper Glen.
