Kevin and Judy TeBeest
Licensed Funeral Directors/Owners
Kevin and Judy were born and raised in Montevideo and graduated from Montevideo High School. Kevin received his degree in mortuary science from the University of Minnesota in 1985 before joining Anderson Funeral Home in 1992. Judy also graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1985 and in 2014, completed the mortuary science program from the Des Moines Area Community College. In addition to being a licensed mortician, Judy is also trained as a funeral celebrant, a Certified Professional in Funeral Planning, a licensed social worker, and holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Southwest Minnesota State.
Kyle and Camille TeBeest
Licensed Funeral Directors
Born and raised in Montevideo,
Kyle attended Montevideo High School and graduated in 2012. He attended the
University of Minnesota to pursue his degree in Mortuary Science. Camille, a 2011
graduate of St. Charles High School, attended Minnesota State University –
Mankato and received an Associate Degree before transferring into the Mortuary
Science Program at the University of Minnesota.
Camille graduated from the program in 2016 obtaining her Bachelor of
Science in Mortuary Science and began working with Mankato Area Funeral Homes. Following his graduation from the program in
2016, Kyle worked with Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault, MN until July of 2017
when they both joined his family firm.
They were married in September of 2018 and live in Granite Falls with
their daughter, Campbell and golden retriever, Minne. Kyle is active with the
Montevideo Chamber of Commerce where he serves on the Board, and is also a
member and Board member of the Montevideo Lions Club. In addition to being a
funeral director Kyle is a Certified Crematory Operator and a Certified Funeral
Celebrant. Camille keeps busy with the
Granite Falls Lions Club as a Board member, and spends as much free time as she
can with her family back home. She is a
Certified Professional in Funeral Planning, and both she and Kyle are graduates
of the Minnesota Funeral Directors Association Leadership Academy. They attend Granite Falls Lutheran Church
where Kyle serves on the Music/Worship Committee.
Lynette Ray
Pre-Need Specialist
Lynette was born
and raised in Pipestone, Minnesota. She graduated from SDSU with a B.S.
in Business Administration. She and her husband, Rick, moved to
Montevideo in 1983 where they raised their three sons. She worked as the
Inside Sales Manager at MTI for 35 years. She loves spending time with
family and friends, golfing, walking and her morning coffee. Lynette feels
that in this new career she is truly helping others through very difficult
times.
Kurt Dahl
Funeral Assistant
Kurt Dahl was born in Dawson and moved to Montevideo in 1953. He graduated from Montevideo and began a 47 year career in the publishing and advertising field. He is married to his wife Jenell of 47 years and have three children. Kurt retired in 2016 and returned to Montevideo. He is an avid motorcycle rider and member of District 7 American Legion Riders.
