Linda Amundson, age 59, died on October 11, 2017 at Luther Haven Care Center in Montevideo, MN.
Memorial services will be held at the Luther Haven Chapel in Montevideo at 1:30 PM on Monday, October 23, 2017. Burial will follow at the Hayden Cemetery in Madison, MN.
Linda Amundson was born at Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis, MN on June 4, 1958 to parents Laura (McDonald) and Arthur Amundson. She attended Clinton Elementary School in Minneapolis, Phillips Jr High School and South Minneapolis High School.
Linda married Earl Lone in 1978 and to this union one son was born, James Earl Lone.
Linda lived and worked in the Twin Cities area until the late 1990’s when she moved to west central MN to the Dawson/Madison area along with several of her family members. Linda was a care giver for her father, brothers, Jim and John and her sister, Melody.
In life, Linda enjoyed her pets, good food and spending time with family and friends.
Linda is survived by her son, James and significant other, Lynn Bertram of Montevideo; grandchildren, Dakota Star Halverson and Makayla Laura Lone-Judkins; sisters, Margaret (Darwin) Jauert of Luverne, MN, Marie (Don) Grundy of Nolanville, TX, Esther Amundson of Brooklyn Center, MN, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Beverly and Melody, brothers, John and James.
