Terry Eischens

December 8, 1953 ~ October 5, 2017 (age 63) 63 Years Old

Terry Eischens, of Montevideo, died as a result of a brain tumor he had been battling for 27 months on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Rice Care Center Therapy Suites in Willmar at the age of 63.

Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Paul Timmerman officiating. A private burial will be at a later date. 

Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 from 4-7:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with a rosary service starting at 4:30 PM and a prayer service at 7:00 PM.  Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.  

Terrance Leo Eischens was born on December 8, 1953 in Canby to Norbert and Mildred (Abraham) Eischens.  He attended Appleton High School and graduated in 1972.  Following high school, Terry worked various jobs in several different locations.  He was united in marriage to Pamela Dutee on April 29, 1995 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar.  In 1996, they moved to Montevideo and Terry began his career driving school bus.  He loved driving for sporting events and was the kids “Number One Fan” always cheering them on at the finish line or end of the game!   In his free time, he enjoyed golf and baseball - even scoring a Hole In One.  

Terry is survived by his wife, Pamela; siblings:  Pat (Eldon) Ostby of Montevideo, Donna Sherod of Benson, Connie (Jerry) Rice of New London, Robert (Patty) Eischens of Lakeville, Mary Eischens of Willmar, Brenda (Alan) Hoffman of Broken Arrow, OK, and Vicki (Randy) Zinda of Spicer; sisters-in-law: Deb John and Theresa Brown both of Willmar; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Shirley Lesewski

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
