Terry Montgomery

Terry Montgomery of Montevideo died on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL at the age of 62.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 1:00pm at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Donald S. McKee officiating.  Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to services.  Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Montevideo.

Terry Lee Montgomery was born in Los Angeles, California to James and Donna (Anderson) Montgomery. Terry spent his early childhood in Aberdeen, SD until 1963, when his family moved to Montevideo, MN. He attended school in Montevideo and graduated from Montevideo Senior High School in 1972.  He married LouAnn Johnson at Jevnaker Lutheran Church on December 30, 1972. After attending college in Garden City, KS, Terry and LouAnn returned to Montevideo and raised four children together. Terry owned and operated T&M Construction and Montgomery Grain. He also traveled and worked with LouAnn in her business, Hare Hollow Kidz.
 
He is survived by his mother, Donna  Montgomery, Lakeville, MN; his wife, LouAnn; their children: Jason Montgomery, St. Paul, MN, Melissa Schaaf, Norwood-Young America, MN, Cole (Tricia) Montgomery, Richfield, MN, Jordan Montgomery of Carmel Valley, CA;  grandchildren: Amelia and William Montgomery, Ashley, Kiley, and Peyton Schaaf, Dane, Sig and Ryan Montgomery; his siblings: Debbie Montgomery of Scott City, KS, Scott (Dede) Montgomery, Spicer, MN, Doug (Jayne) Montgomery, Apple Valley, MN, and Todd (Karen) Montgomery, Savage, MN

He was preceded in death by his father, James.
